About the Marketplace of Ideas

The Marketplace of Ideas is a journal featuring analysis and perspective on timely issues affecting the higher education system.  As the title suggests, the Marketplace is designed to feature contributors with a wide range of opinions and perspectives on the issues.

The Marketplace has two general types of article formats: Special Reports and Alerts.  The Special Reports provide in-depth analysis of major issues, with about two new reports made available each month.  The Alerts are brief articles and include concise analysis, timely updates, commentary, compliance tips, CLHE polls, fact sheets, and much more.  These alerts are made available several times a week.

Since we want the Marketplace to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, we encourage you to comment on the articles.  If you are not yet a member of the Council on Law in Higher Education (CLHE), please join soon and you can receive the numerous benefits of membership, including access to all the articles in the Marketplace.
