About the Program

On December 2, 2011, the Family Policy Compliance Office published what are considered controversial new FERPA final regulations.

The regulations expand previously understood definitions to allow easier disclosure of personally identifiable information to third parties.

This webinar will primarily focus on two things:

1) Objectively detailing the major changes; and
2) Discussing the potential implications the changes will have on institutions.

We do strongly suggest that participants make themselves aware of the final regulations prior to the event.  The new changes are fairly complex.

There will be plenty of time for Q & A.
