Founded in 1998, the Council on Law in Higher Education (CLHE) is an independent nonprofit organization designed for higher education leaders that want to stay informed of public policy and legal issues.
CLHE members receive comprehensive tracking of policy and legal developments, insight and analysis on a wide range of emerging issues, and other invaluable benefits. The organization also prides itself on being a unique voice on current issues. CLHE’s work reflects a belief that the regulatory and legal burden on colleges and universities has become excessive and sensible reforms are needed.
To be the premier independent resource for public policy and legal issues affecting the nation’s higher education system.
